Everybody Eats/ Todos Comemos is a community created play in collaboration with Landpaths/Bayer Farm, a six acre urban farm and community gardens in the heart of Roseland. Imaginists' actors and Roseland Bayer Farm community create a bilingual play about food, from seed to harvest. We investigate participant's gardening cultures, seeds, recipies and connection to our Mother Earth as well as the political overtones of where our food comes from. Slow food & slow theater unite! Join us in the gardens of the farm where we will perform among the hedgerows and paths, under the trees and around the tomatoes!
Todos Comemos/ Everybody Eatses una obra creada por la comunidad en colaboracion con El Bayer Farm de LandPaths. Bayer Farm es una granja de seis acres y jardines comunitarios en el centro de Roseland. Los Imaginistas y la comunidad del Bayer Farm de Roseland crean una obra en bilingüe sobre el tema de comida, de la semilla a la cosecha. Investigamos las culturas jardineras de los participantes, semillas, recetas y la conexion con nuestra Madre Tierra. Tambien investigamos las insinuaciones politicas sobre donde viene nuestra comida. ¡Alimento lento y el teatro lento se unen! ¡Vengan a los jardines de la granja donde vamos a estar presentando entre los arbustos y senderos, debajo de arboles y alrededor de los jitomates!
